In 2010, the then veteran members of the Rats of Tobruk Association established the 'Rats of Tobruk Association Neuroscience Fellowship Fund' with an initial donation of $1.5 million, proceeds from the sale of their beloved Tobruk House. They wanted to perpetuate the memory of the 'Rats of Tobruk' in a way that would benefit society well into the future. The fund is used to award an annual fellowship to a young doctor so that he or she can undertake studies associated with paediatric neuroscience. The opportunities created by the fellowship are pivotal to the ongoing development of specialised skills, which is important for the current and future care of children and young persons living with neurological conditions. By donating to this fund you will support and share the vision of the mighty Rats of Tobruk.
